Matsuyama Airport Lost and Found

松山空港 · Ehime (愛媛県), Shikoku (四国)

Short answer

Matsuyama Airport publishes a list of items currently held in the terminal, updated daily around 19:00, and gives the General Information desk number for terminal losses. Items left on a plane go to the airline, and the page gives a phone number, web form, chat or email depending on the airline. If you are already home, check the held-items list first, then contact us if you want help in Japanese.

Already left Japan?

  1. Open the airport’s list of items currently held and look for your item. The airport updates it daily around 19:00.
  2. For a terminal loss, phone the General Information desk in the +81 format during 8:30–19:30 JST. For a plane, use your airline’s row above.
  3. If the item is confirmed found, ask how long it will be held and what is needed to release it. The official pages we read state neither.
  4. Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The official pages do not say.
  5. If you want us to call in Japanese or collect the item where the facility allows it, contact us with the confirmation you received.
  6. After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally. We quote available shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.

How Lost and Found Japan can help

  • Read the Japanese held-items list with you and contact the desk or the airline in Japanese
  • Help you describe the item the way the desk asks
  • Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
  • Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it
  • We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item. We work within what the facility allows.

Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.

Matsuyama Airport lost and found: FAQ

Can I check online whether Matsuyama Airport has my item?
The official page links a PDF list of items currently held in the terminal, which the airport says it updates daily around 19:00. If your item is not there, phone the General Information desk.
How do I call the General Information desk from overseas?
Dial +81-89-972-5600, dropping the leading 0 of 089. The desk’s service page gives 8:30–19:30 JST and notes the hours may change with the flight schedule.
I left something on a plane. Where do I ask?
The airline. The official page gives a 24-hour web form and a phone number for ANA and IBX, JAL’s lost-item search and chat plus a phone number, live chat for Jetstar Japan, an inquiry page for Jeju Air, an email for Air Busan, and a phone number for EVA Air.
I lost something on an airport bus.
The lost-property page sends bus losses to the airport’s contact list page. We did not copy those numbers, as the lost-property page itself does not print them.
Is there an English version of the lost-property page?
The site’s English option is an automatic translation of the Japanese page. It did not load for us, so we cite the Japanese page.

Not confirmed on the official pages

We do not state the following because we could not confirm it from the official pages listed below. Please ask the facility directly.

  • Retention period, proxy collection rules, required documents, shipping of found items by the airport, and fees are not stated on the official pages we read.
  • The airline rows list phone numbers without hours, except where the airline states a 24-hour web form.
  • The held-items PDF changes daily and is not reproduced here.
  • Contacts for buses and other places are on a separate airport page that we did not copy.
