Naha Airport Lost and Found

那覇空港 · Okinawa (沖縄県), Okinawa (沖縄)

Short answer

Naha Airport’s official pages split lost-property contacts into airline (items on the aircraft) and the airport terminal building. For the terminal building the Japanese page lists a dedicated lost-property room, 098-840-1359, 9:00–19:00 JST, while the English page points to the Information desks. If you are already home, call the dedicated room during its hours, or the Information desk, then contact us if you want help in Japanese.

What to prepare before you inquire

  • Where you lost it: aircraft, domestic terminal or international terminal, and the floor or area
  • Date and approximate time

  • Photos of the item or of an identical model, if you have them
  • An email address and phone number where you can be reached

Already left Japan?

  1. For items on the aircraft, contact your airline. For the terminal building, phone using the +81 format, dropping the leading 0 (for example 098-840-1359 becomes +81-98-840-1359).
  2. Mind JST hours. The dedicated room is staffed 9:00–19:00 JST; the Information desks have longer hours that vary by floor.
  3. If the item is confirmed found, ask where it is held, how long it will be kept and how it can be released. The official pages we read do not state a retention period.
  4. Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The facility decides.
  5. If you want us to handle the Japanese-language steps or collect on your behalf where allowed, contact us with your confirmation.
  6. After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally. We quote available shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.

How Lost and Found Japan can help

  • Contact the relevant office in Japanese and relay the answers to you
  • Help you prepare the information and documents they ask for
  • Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
  • Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it
  • We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item.

Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.
