Hiroshima Airport Lost and Found
広島空港 · Hiroshima (広島県), Chugoku (中国)
Short answer
Hiroshima Airport has an official online inquiry form for items lost in the terminal building and in the airport car parks, and the Hiroshima Airport Information counter takes the same inquiries by phone (8:00–20:00 JST). Items left on a plane, a limousine bus or a JR train go to those operators. If you are already home, send the form or call +81-848-86-8151, then contact us if you want help in Japanese.

Where to report a lost item at Hiroshima Airport
The official contact table separates the terminal and car parks from aircraft, buses and trains.
| Where it was lost | Contact |
|---|---|
| Inside the airport terminal building | Hiroshima Airport Information counter, by phone or the official inquiry form |
| Airport car park and Car Park 2 | Hiroshima Airport Information counter, by phone or the official inquiry form |
| Masahiro Parking | Masahiro Parking |
| Inside the aircraft | The airline you used (the airport links its airline contact list) |
| Inside the limousine bus | The bus company you used (the airport links its bus company list) |
| On a JR train | JR Odekake Net (“If you have lost something” page, linked from the airport page) |
The airport’s FAQ says only “contact the car park you used” for parking, whereas its contact table routes the airport car park and Car Park 2 to the Information counter. We follow the contact table and show both.

What to prepare before you inquire
- Where you lost it: terminal building, airport car park, Car Park 2, Masahiro Parking, aircraft, limousine bus or JR train
- Date and approximate time. The official form asks for as much detail as possible, including maker, model, colour, features, and place and time lost
- Airline and flight number, if you were travelling
- A phone number and email address. The form lists both as required, and says it may use the phone number to contact you about the item
- Photos of the item or of an identical model, if you have them
Already left Japan?
- Send the official inquiry form. It is in Japanese, so keep your description specific (maker, model, colour, features, where and when). If you want us to complete it for you, contact us.
- If it is urgent, phone the Information counter using +81-848-86-8151 during 8:00–20:00 JST.
- If the item is confirmed found, ask how long it will be held and what is needed to release it. The official pages we read state neither.
- Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The official pages do not say.
- After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally. We quote available shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.
How Lost and Found Japan can help
- Contact the Information counter, airline, bus company or parking operator in Japanese and relay the answers to you
- Help you prepare the details the Japanese-language inquiry form asks for
- Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
- Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it
- We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item. We work within what the facility allows.
Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.
