Already left Japan?

  1. Match the place of loss to the contact above. The page lists phone numbers only; no online form is listed.
  2. Call in the +81 format (drop the leading 0), within the hours shown. The 0570 numbers may not connect from abroad; if they do not, ask us to call.
  3. If the item is confirmed found, ask how long it will be held and what is needed to release it. The page states neither.
  4. Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The page does not say.
  5. If you want us to call in Japanese or collect the item where the facility allows it, contact us with the confirmation you received.
  6. After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally. We quote shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.

How Lost and Found Japan can help

  • Contact the Terminal Building, the Management Office or the airline in Japanese and relay the answers to you
  • Help you describe the item the way the desk asks
  • Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
  • Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it
  • We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item. We work within what the facility allows.

Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.
