Toyama Airport Lost and Found
富山空港 · Toyama (富山県), Chubu (中部)
Short answer
Toyama Airport’s official lost-property page says the place where an item is held depends on where and what you lost. For the terminal it names the Domestic Information desk on the 1st floor (6:20–21:10 JST, daily, per the airport’s contact page). For valuables such as a licence or wallet it names the airport police box, and for the aircraft the airline. Where to report a lost item at Toyama Airport
The official page says where an item is kept depends on the place and the type of item, and lists three groups.
| Where it was lost | Contact |
|---|---|
| Inside the Toyama Airport terminal building | Domestic Information desk (国内線案内所), 1st floor |
| Valuables such as a driver’s licence or a wallet | Toyama Airport Police Box (富山空港警備派出所) |
| Inside the aircraft: ANA (Tokyo and Sapporo) | ANA; the airport links ANA’s lost-property page |
| Inside the aircraft: Dalian, Shanghai or Taipei flights | China Southern, China Eastern or China Airlines respectively, using the numbers the airport lists |
The international Information desk takes calls only during international flight operating hours, per the airport’s contact page. The official lost-property page names the Domestic Information desk for terminal items.

What to prepare before you inquire
- Whether you lost it inside the building, or on a plane, and whether it is a valuable such as a licence or wallet (which goes to the police box)
- Date and approximate time you last had the item
- Airline and flight number, if you were travelling
- Item type, colour, brand, size, distinguishing marks, and what was inside
- Photos of the item or of an identical model, if you have them
- An email address and phone number where you can be reached
Already left Japan?
- For a terminal loss, call the Domestic Information desk in the +81 format during 6:20–21:10 JST. For valuables such as a licence or wallet, call the airport police box.
- For a plane, use the airline row. ANA is handled through its own lost-property page.
- If the item is confirmed found, ask how long it will be held and what is needed to release it. The official pages we read state neither.
- Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The official pages do not say.
- If you want us to call in Japanese or collect the item where the facility allows it, contact us with the confirmation you received.
- After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally. We quote available shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.
How Lost and Found Japan can help
- Contact the Information desk, the police box or the airline in Japanese and relay the answers to you
- Help you describe the item the way the desk asks
- Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
- Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it
- We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item. We work within what the facility allows.
Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.
Toyama Airport lost and found: FAQ
- Where do I ask about something lost in the Toyama Airport terminal?
- The official lost-property page names the Domestic Information desk on the 1st floor: 076-495-3100 (from overseas +81-76-495-3100). The airport’s contact page gives its hours as 6:20–21:10 JST, daily.
- I lost a wallet or driver’s licence. Who handles that?
- The official lost-property page lists the Toyama Airport Police Box for valuables such as a licence or wallet: 076-495-3110.
- I left something on a plane at Toyama. Who do I contact?
- Your airline. The page links ANA’s lost-property page for Tokyo and Sapporo flights, and lists China Southern (Dalian, 076-413-2360), China Eastern (Shanghai, 076-428-5060) and China Airlines (Taipei, 076-461-7100).
- Why are there two different Toyama Airport websites?
- Toyama Airport has a terminal-company site (toyama-airport.co.jp) and a prefecture-run information site (toyama-airport.jp). We read both. They list the same Information and police-box numbers, but give different numbers for China Airlines, so we flag that and recommend confirming with the airline.
- Does the airport say how long found items are kept?
- Not on the pages we read. Ask the desk that holds your item.
Not confirmed on the official pages
We do not state the following because we could not confirm it from the official pages listed below. Please ask the facility directly.
- Retention period, proxy collection rules, required documents, shipping of found items by the airport, and fees are not stated on the official pages we read.
- The two official sites give different numbers for China Airlines (076-461-7100 versus 052-202-7117); we could not tell which is current.
- Hours for the airport police box and for China Airlines on the lost-property page are not stated.
- No online lost-property form is listed.
