Nakashibetsu Airport Lost and Found

中標津空港 · Hokkaido (北海道), Hokkaido (北海道)

Short answer

Nemuro-Nakashibetsu Airport’s official FAQ gives one contact per place of loss: the Nakashibetsu Airport information desk (0153-73-5651) for the terminal building, the Nakashibetsu Police Station airport security substation (0153-72-5509) for the airport surroundings, and your airline for items left on the aircraft. The FAQ is in Japanese only. If you are already home, call the information desk, or contact us for help calling in Japanese.

Already left Japan?

  1. Match the place of loss to the contact above. The FAQ lists phone numbers only for the airport; no hours are printed, so allow for a missed call and try again at another time.
  2. Call in the +81 format (drop the leading 0).
  3. For an item left on the aircraft, contact the airline you flew. The FAQ links the ANA and JAL inquiry pages but gives no airline numbers.
  4. If the item is confirmed found, ask how long it will be held and what is needed to release it. The FAQ states neither.
  5. Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The FAQ does not say.
  6. If you want us to call in Japanese or collect the item where the facility allows it, contact us with the confirmation you received. After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally; we quote shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.

How Lost and Found Japan can help

  • Contact the information desk, the police substation or the airline in Japanese and relay the answers to you
  • Help you describe the item the way the desk asks
  • Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
  • Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it
  • We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item. We work within what the facility allows.

Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.
