Nagasaki Airport Lost and Found
長崎空港 · Nagasaki (長崎県), Kyushu (九州)
Short answer
Nagasaki Airport has no dedicated lost-and-found page. Its official FAQ and contact list send items lost inside the terminal to the Information counter on the 1st floor (8:45–19:30 JST), items left on a plane to the airline, and car-park losses to the parking operator. The airport also states that it cannot deliver left-behind items overseas. If you are already home, call +81-957-52-5555 or use a representative in Japan, and contact us if you want help in Japanese.

Where to report a lost item at Nagasaki Airport
The official FAQ answers “where do I ask about a lost item” with three routes.
| Where it was lost | Contact |
|---|---|
| Inside the airport building | Information counter, 1st floor |
| Inside the aircraft | The airline you used (the airport’s contact list gives a lost-property number per airline where one exists) |
| Airport car park | Airport Promotion and Environment Improvement Support Organization (空港振興・環境整備支援機構), Nagasaki office |
The official pages we read do not name a police or customs lost-property window. The police box is on the 1st floor but its listing does not mention lost property.

What to prepare before you inquire
- Whether you lost it inside the building, in the car park or on a plane
- Date and approximate time you last had the item
- Airline and flight number, if you were travelling
- Item type, colour, brand, size, distinguishing marks, and what was inside
- Photos of the item or of an identical model, if you have them
- An email address and phone number where you can be reached
Already left Japan?
- For a building loss, call the Information counter in the +81 format during 8:45–19:30 JST. For a plane, use the airline row above. Peach is listed as email only, with no address on the page we read.
- The airport states it cannot deliver left-behind items overseas. Plan on collection in Japan by you or a representative.
- If the item is confirmed found, ask how long it will be held and what is needed to release it. The official pages we read state neither.
- Ask whether a representative may collect it and what documents are needed. The official pages do not say.
- If you want us to call in Japanese or collect the item where the facility allows it, contact us with the confirmation you received.
- After we receive the item, we pack it and ship it internationally from our side. We quote available shipping methods and fees individually, and arrival dates are not guaranteed.
How Lost and Found Japan can help
- Contact the Information counter, airline or car park operator in Japanese and relay the answers to you
- Help you describe the item the way the counter asks
- Collect the item on your behalf, only where the facility allows a representative
- Pack the item and ship it internationally once we have it, since the airport itself does not ship overseas
- We cannot search the airport ourselves and we cannot make a facility release an item. We work within what the facility allows.
Lost and Found Japan is an independent private service. We are not an official airport, airline, customs or police lost-and-found desk. Consult with us.
